About The Position

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Parts Manager to lead our parts department operations in Fort Lauderdale, FL. In this high-impact role, you will oversee a team of 11 direct reports, driving departmental profitability, managing inventory, and optimizing operational processes. Your ability to lead, analyze, and execute will be essential in aligning department performance with company-wide goals and initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Management, or a related field (preferred)
  • 4+ years of experience in parts management or a related field
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to supervise and develop a team
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, ERP systems (e.g., SX.e), and parts invoicing
  • Strong communication, prioritization, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with lean environments, JIT inventory, Kanban systems (preferred)
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., APICS, CPIM, CSCP) are a plus
  • Strong customer service orientation and cross-functional collaboration experience

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership, motivation, and coaching to the parts team, ensuring productivity and adherence to company policies
  • Drive parts sales growth, control costs, and maximize departmental profitability
  • Analyze daily financial and inventory reports to monitor performance and achieve KPIs
  • Lead inventory reduction efforts and continuous improvement projects (e.g., Syncron, GEMBA)
  • Monitor and improve OE and SRO fill rate performance
  • Conduct employee performance evaluations and implement growth plans
  • Prepare for and conduct monthly business review meetings and budgeting processes
