About The Position

Parts Management Specialist (Production Control) Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Parts Management Specialist to join our dynamic team in Berkeley, MO. Position Responsibilities - Associate Level 2: Assists with inventory assessments and inventory management Assists with safety stock inventory management Coordinates resolution for abnormal parts condition management Assists with overall parts coordination, status, tracking, and communication Applies change and planning decisions to arrive at optimal solutions Applies Supply chain Management (SCM) methodologies to ensure coordination in the supply chain Ensures integration of Bills of Material (BOM) change into production plan schedules Documents and resolves order delinquencies Reports schedule adherence issues Applies developed solutions to inventory plans Analyzes and dispositions excess and obsolete inventories Coordinates and supports process improvements Works under general supervision. Position Responsibilities - Experienced Level 3: Performs inventory assessments and optimizes inventory management Executes regular safety stock inventory management Determines resolution for abnormal parts condition management Leads overall parts coordination, status, tracking, and communication Incorporates change and planning decisions to arrive at optimal solutions Applies Supply Chain Management (SCM) methodologies to ensure coordination in the global supply chain Ensures integration of Bills of Material (BOM) change into production plan schedules Oversees on-time delivery Documents and elevates order delinquencies constraints Reports schedule adherence issues Assists with and oversees inventory plans Optimizes inventory levels Analyzes and dispositions excess inventories Initiates audits Develops and creates schedules for products and services Assists in developing estimates and schedules for new business proposals Implements and maintains process improvements by analyzing and establishing best practices for materials management to improve SCM performance Works under general direction This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work on-site at one of the listed location options. Ability to Obtain U.S. Secret – Interim Pre-Start & Final Post Start & Special Program Access This position is for 1st shift.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience supporting Manufacturing/Operations, Materials Management and/or Supply Chain functions in a production environment.
  • 1+ years of experience using all the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
  • 1+ years’ experience supporting deliverables for both internal/external customers
  • 3+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or materials management.
  • 3+ years of experience working in a manufacturing, warehouse, shipping or customer service environment.
  • 3+ years of experience using all the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
  • 3+ years of experience in Production Control and Material Management processes.

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • More than 1 year of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • More than 3 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
