About The Position

We are now looking for our collaboration partner a highly motivated, responsible and experienced PARTS & LOGISTICS MANAGER. The Parts & Logistics Manager is responsible for the efficient management of spare parts inventory, procurement, and logistics operations. The role ensures the availability of required parts for workshop operations while maintaining accurate stock control, coordinating with suppliers, and managing import/export logistics. The position also supports warranty processes and ensures traceability and proper documentation of parts movements. Our partner has experience of almost 40 years in marine industry. Their onsite energy department specializes in cutting-edge energy solutions, including Diesel Gensets, Gas (CHP/CCHP) systems, Microgrids and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).

Requirements

  • Experience in spare parts management, logistics, or warehouse operations (preferably within marine, mechanical, or industrial sectors).
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong organisational and inventory management skills
  • Attention to detail and accurate record keeping
  • Good communication and coordination skills
  • Ability to manage supplier relationships
  • Knowledge of logistics and international shipping procedures

Nice To Haves

  • Basic knowledge of import/export logistics procedures is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Organise, manage, and maintain the stores and spare parts inventory.
  • Ensure proper storage, labelling, and systematic arrangement of all parts.
  • Monitor stock levels and liaise with management to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Record all stock movements accurately within the company’s inventory system.
  • Prepare and coordinate periodic and annual stock takes for audit purposes.
  • Compile and prepare spare parts quotations as requested by management.
  • Place purchase orders with suppliers and monitor order status.
  • Receive and physically verify incoming parts and ensure they are stored in their designated locations.
  • Coordinate with relevant personnel to ensure all parts are properly recorded in the company system.
  • Prepare parts usage reports required for warranty claims.
  • Provide relevant documentation to the Warranty Administrator.
  • Assist the Warranty Administrator with the preparation and processing of warranty claims.
  • Package failed or defective parts and arrange their return to suppliers for investigation.
  • Maintain detailed records of shipments and returns to ensure full traceability.
  • Manage all logistics related to the import and export of spare parts and equipment.
  • Obtain quotations for freight and shipping services.
  • Coordinate shipment insurance where required.
  • Ensure proper documentation and compliance with shipping and customs procedures.
