About The Position

PARTS/INVENTORY COORDINATOR Position Summary: The Parts/Inventory individual will be responsible for organizing, maintaining, and assisting the maintenance team with parts and help develop the parts program. Monitors weekly parts and equipment ordering and controls excessive parts and equipment inventories. Coordinating, scheduling, and delivering as requested and following up with systems and process to ensure the equipment is fully operational and in working order. Maintains accurate records of invoices, purchase orders, and all documentation that is needed. Develop a deep understanding of all products, equipment, and all aspects of company policies and procedures. Develop and maintain relationships with parts and equipment vendors to ensure cost-effective purchasing and timely delivery. Help assist the maintenance team with preparing parts to be used on PM. Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
  • Calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume.
  • Apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
