About The Position

Enstructure LLC is a logistics infrastructure company with corporate offices in Wellesley, Massachusetts, and New York, New York. Enstructure owns and operates an integrated network of marine terminals and logistics assets on the East Coast, Gulf Coast, and Inland River System of the United States. Founded in 2016, Enstructure's mission is to acquire and grow established terminal and logistics companies that will benefit from the company's resources and best practices. Enstructure provides extensive services for some of the world's largest companies within the energy, agriculture, automotive, retail, food, manufacturing, construction, and public safety sectors. The Parts Handler is responsible for receiving, handling, tracking, and distributing automotive parts, materials, and supplies to support OEM vehicle processing operations at the port terminal. This position plays a key role in maintaining accurate inventory, ensuring timely parts availability, and supporting production flow while adhering to safety, security, and quality standards.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid Driver’s License – Required
  • Ability to operate an automatic and manual transmission vehicle - Required
  • Ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and physical examination
  • 2-4 years of experience in automotive parts operations, warehouse logistics, or inventory management.
  • 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced port terminal environment.
  • Effective communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to use handheld scanners, inventory systems, and basic computer applications.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in a port terminal, OEM processing center, dealership parts department, parts stores, or automotive distribution environment preferred
  • Experience working in a high-volume or port logistics environment preferred
  • Familiarity with automotive components and parts terminology. (A plus)

Responsibilities

  • Receive, unload, inspect, and verify incoming OEM parts shipments to ensure accuracy and compliance with shipping documentation.
  • Store, organize, label, and stage parts in designated warehouse or terminal locations to support efficient retrieval and workflow.
  • Pick, issue, and deliver parts and materials to production areas in accordance with work orders and processing schedules.
  • Placing mats, first aid kits, and other OEM miscellaneous parts inside vehicles.
  • Update inventory transactions in ProAct or OEM-specific systems to maintain accurate, real-time inventory records.
  • Assist with inventory control activities, including cycle counts, physical inventories, and variance reconciliation.
  • Operate material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts) safely and in accordance with company policies, if certified.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas in compliance with terminal safety and security requirements.
  • Support OEM quality standards, port security regulations, and company policies related to material handling and inventory management.
  • Other duties as assigned.
