About The Position

We’re Hiring! Sun State is currently seeking a Parts Driver to join our team in Sarasota, FL ! Location: 1000 Sarasota Center BLVD, Sarasota , FL Position: Parts Driver Starting Rate: $17.00 Are you a safe driver with a passion for delivering excellent customer service? This is your opportunity to be a part of our growing team! The Parts Driver delivers parts to customers with an emphasis on safe driving and excellent customer service.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Valid Driver’s License and driving required that meets company standard
• 1+ years of Customer Service Experience
• 1+ years of Delivery Experience
• 1+ years of Parts Inventory Experience; preferred
• Ability to thrive in a busy, fast-paced retail environment
• Basic computer skills required – Microsoft Office Products
• Effective Verbal and Written Communication Skills

Nice To Haves

• 1+ years of Parts Inventory Experience

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and verify orders
• Deliver parts to customers' locations
• Collect payment for an order, if needed
• Drive Company-owned vehicle (light-duty pick-up truck)
• Ensure frequent communication with Dispatch
• Able to resolve errors or discrepancies with orders
• Cross Train for Warehouse Opportunities
