About The Position

The Parts Driver position delivers and picks up parts and equipment for the dealership in a timely manner to meet schedules and commitments while ensuring the delivery truck is in a clean and operable condition.

Requirements

A High school diploma or the equivalent
Must have a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
Successful completion of pre-employment screening
Authorization to work in the USA
Valid Driver's licenses with acceptable driving record

Responsibilities

Deliver and pick up parts as requested by Parts Manager.
Load truck in such a way as to eliminate damage to sheet metal and other fragile parts.
Organize schedule of deliveries to maximize efficiency and post schedule to make available for contact.
Verify that invoice matches purchase order for each pick-up.
Keep truck clean and neat and regularly check vehicle to keep in good running condition.
Maintain parts truck including filling tank with gas, checking oil, keeping it clean, and making sure required inspections are performed.
Report any malfunctions of parts vehicle to Parts Manager immediately.
Assist in keeping parts department and parts area clean.
Make pick up and deliveries safely and call the shipping department from each pick-up and delivery stop.
Pick up only parts that have a purchase order on the invoice.
Update delivery log after each delivery.
Work with Parts Manager to identify potential clients and complete sales calls as determined by the Parts Manager.
Maintain professional personal appearance.
Complete required training assigned through the company training portal.
Adhere to consistent and reliable work schedule.
Demonstrate ethical business practices and integrity in all interactions to uphold the Mac Haik Automotive group brand.
Effectively perform duties and responsibilities in a safe manner.
Other duties as assigned.
