Summary: The Parts Driver will support the parts, service, dealership, and wholesale departments by pulling and restocking inventory in the Parts Department. This team member will also ensure timely and efficient delivery of parts to both internal and external customers.
Requirements
- Valid Driver's License, with 2 or fewer moving violations
- Three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Self-starter with proven ability to seek out new ways to build opportunities for the dealership and customer satisfaction
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions
- Basic MS Office knowledge; computer software, internet proficiency, and general mathematics skills
Responsibilities
- Pull and fill orders from stock
- Notify parts manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials that need immediate attention
- Pull orders for delivery to wholesale customers, making sure all parts are tagged with customer names and job number
- Deliver parts daily using vehicles and other logistical equipment
- Keep the stock room clean and orderly
