About The Position

The Parts Driver drives company vehicles to pick up and deliver parts in the local area. He or she transports products from local parts sources and delivers them to our dealership. Most importantly and without exception, the Parts Driver operates within the legal speed limits and in a safe fashion at all times. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, an unrestricted driver's license, and a clean driving record. Candidates must be able to drive both automatic and standard-transmission vehicles and must have basic mechanical skills to perform minor vehicle maintenance (checking and topping off fluid levels, maintaining tire pressure, performing vehicle safety checks, etc.). Strong communication and customer service skills required. Requirements

1+ year experience as a parts delivery driver required.
A valid California driver's license and clean DMV driving record.
Excellent interpersonal skills to interact professionally with customers, vendors, and staff.
Neat, clean, and professional appearance.
Able to multi-task.
Able to safely operate motor vehicles in tight and small spaces.
Able to work independently with minimal supervision
Friendly with high energy and the willingness to go above and beyond.
Excellent client and customer satisfaction skills.
Must be a team player with a strong sense of commitment to the customer and team members.
Must have a high-energy personality.
Self-motivated, enthusiastic presence in a team environment.
Self-starter and self-motivator.
Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed.
Able to drive both automatic and standard-transmission vehicles.

Deliver and pick up parts to various locations.
Build long-term relationships with the customers and vendors you deliver to.
Maintain a distribution log or tracking system to record all deliveries/pickups made.
Inspect, protect and maintain company assets, merchandise and vehicles.
Demonstrates behaviors consistent with the Company's Values in all interactions with customers, coworkers and vendors.
