About The Position
The Parts Development Trim & Tire position at HMGMA involves understanding program sourcing and key milestones in support of launch. The role requires identifying potential suppliers, analyzing their capabilities, determining pricing, and selecting suppliers in collaboration with Engineering and other relevant teams. Responsibilities include preparing and managing RFI’s, RFP’s, and RFQ's for multi-year full production volume, negotiating long-term agreements, leading cost reduction activities, and ensuring that all assigned commodities meet required specifications and timing. The position also involves evaluating suppliers, managing them through the Parts Development process, and driving quality and delivery improvements. Effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams and suppliers are essential for successful launches and issue resolution.
