About The Position
LEGACY TOYOTA OF DALLAS is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Parts Department Trainee to join our team! This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone looking to start a career in the automotive industry and learn the ins and outs of a dealership's parts department from the ground up. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED equivalent required. He or she must have a pleasant and courteous personality, strong customer service and organizational skills, strong phone and computer skills, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn.
- Detail-oriented and organized.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer skills and willingness to learn dealership systems.
- Ability to follow directions and work in a team environment.
- Valid Texas driver's license and a good driving record.

- Ability to multi task different duties to learn all aspects of the parts department.
Responsibilities
- Receiving and processing parts orders.
- Verifying shipments for accuracy and quantity.
- Stocking incoming inventory in the correct locations.
- Assisting experienced Parts Department personnel with various tasks, such as filling orders and maintaining inventory records.
- Learning and assisting in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the parts department.
- Providing support in other areas of the Parts Department as needed for cross-training and future advancement.
- Other duties as assigned.
