About The Position

Employee will be responsible for assisting in the daily operations of an aircraft repair and modification facility parts department. Our parts department supports 40+ technicians maintaining all types of General Aviation and Corporate Aviation aircraft as well as outside customer and internet sales.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent and typically 4 or more years of relevant experience
  • Experience with computer controlled inventory systems.
  • Excellent written and vocal skills, ability to communicate well.
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Physical lifting of 50 pounds and ladder usage
  • Valid driver’s license without alcohol or drug violations in last 36 months
  • To conform to U.S. Government international trade regulations, applicant must be a U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State or U.S. Department of Commerce.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred experience of 2-4 years previous aviation parts department environment, warehouse experience or equivalent
  • Familiarity with AvPro or similar aviation maintenance tracking systems
  • HazMat Training/Certification
  • Ability to operate a Forklift
  • Experience with shipping databases, such as FedEx, DHL, UPS
  • Current Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and clean driving record
  • Understanding of Shelf Life
  • Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense or US Military

  • establishing discounted contracts with suppliers and shippers
  • Operation of vehicles including forklifts
  • Ability to lift large boxes
