We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Parts Runner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting parts and materials from our warehouse to various locations using a box truck. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in route driving, commercial driving, and customer service.
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Experience in route driving and courier services.
- Proficiency in operating a forklift and other heavy equipment.
- Ability to operate a vehicle with a manual transmission.
- Strong customer service skills, with a focus on providing a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual, with a commitment to meeting deadlines and schedules.
Responsibilities
- Drive a box truck to deliver parts and materials to customers, construction sites, and other locations.
- Load and unload parts and materials safely and efficiently.
- Operate a forklift to move heavy items in the warehouse.
- Use a manual transmission to navigate through heavy traffic.
- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring timely delivery and handling any customer inquiries.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Complete delivery records accurately and in a timely manner.
- Communicate with dispatchers and customers to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times.
