About The Position

- The Parts Driver at Valley Ford Trucks is responsible for ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of automotive parts to various locations, supporting the operational needs of the dealership and enhancing customer satisfaction through reliable service.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in a delivery or driver role, preferably within the automotive or trucking industry.
Familiarity with local routes and traffic patterns to ensure timely deliveries.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Strong organizational skills to manage delivery schedules and maintain accurate records.
Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members.
Ability to lift and move heavy parts and equipment safely.
Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety checks.
Dependability and punctuality to meet delivery deadlines consistently.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Safely transport automotive parts to designated locations, ensuring timely delivery while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation, ensuring all records are up-to-date and properly filed.
Conduct routine inspections of delivery vehicles to ensure they are in optimal working condition and report any maintenance needs.
Assist in loading and unloading parts from the delivery vehicle, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
Communicate effectively with the dealership staff and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and address any issues or delays.
Provide excellent customer service by representing Valley Ford Trucks professionally during all interactions with clients and partners.
Collaborate with the parts department to ensure inventory levels are maintained and report any discrepancies.
Follow established safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for oneself and others.
