About The Position
Gordon Truck Centers, Inc. (GTC) is now accepting applications from those interested in a Parts Delivery Driver role at Freightliner Northwest in Redding, CA. Requirements
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
- Other: Must have valid driver’s license, be insurable and a clean driving record.
- Skills that are representative of the job: Ability to drive Sprinter vans, pick-ups. Ability to type and use computer tablet and/or keyboard, send and receive calls and data via a smartphone.
Responsibilities
- Deliver parts to customers from the vehicle to designated areas, utilizing assigned devices such as tablets and/or smartphones.
- Adhering to company safe driving policies at all times.
- Assist with pulling customer order(s) when requested.
- Keep accurate log of daily deliveries, utilizing tablets and/or computer keyboard.
- Strengthen customer relationships with prompt and professional service.
- Provide communication to parts department on customer needs and returns.
- Help in warehouse as time allows, operate a fork-lift on occasion.
- Basic knowledge of computers to input data into parts systems.
- Other duties as assigned.
