General Description: As a Delivery Driver/Warehouse Associate, you will provide exceptional customer service in parts delivery to customers in a company vehicle and partner with the Manager on all aspects of the store’s warehouse.

Requirements

  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to meet our driving requirements
  • Strong oral and written communication ability
  • Commitment to follow all safety procedures and work in a safe manner
  • Must be able to work in a results-oriented, fast-paced environment as part of a team
  • Must be a self-starter and willing to take the initiative, able and willing to work without direct supervision, and be willing to attend appropriate training sessions

Nice To Haves

  • Heavy duty parts experience
  • Previous warehouse, shipping and receiving experience
  • Relevant driving experience
  • Basic computer skills
  • High School Diploma or GED

Responsibilities

  • Pull orders from warehouse for delivery, ensuring accuracy
  • Pick-up and deliver parts to customers, including loading and unloading deliveries
  • Build relationships and provide quality customer service with a sense of urgency
  • Ensure appropriate delivery documentation is generated and issued for each delivery
  • Properly maintain vehicle(s) and report vehicle maintenance issues
  • Ensure that vehicle is kept clean and presentable
  • Assist with all inbound and outbound parts shipments to internal and external customers
  • Operate a forklift and related equipment to load and unload trucks and move material within warehouse
  • Responsible for securing inventory assets and inventory control
  • Maintain the warehouse area in a neat and organized manner
  • Comply with OSHA regulations and safety requirements pertaining to this position.
  • Perform a variety of manual tasks for extended periods of time, which may include light and heavy lifting, standing, bending, and squatting
