Parts Delivery Driver / Shipping & Receiving

Land Rover Bedford is looking for a reliable and motivated team member to join our parts department as a Parts Shipper/Receiver and Delivery Driver. This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys variety in their day, helping with shipping and receiving, stocking parts, and delivering parts to our wholesale customers The hours are full time 8-430 M-F. A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.
Requirements

- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Responsibilities
- Receive incoming parts shipments in the morning and verify accuracy of orders
- Prepare and ship outgoing parts orders accurately and efficiently
- Deliver parts to wholesale customers and other dealership locations throughout the day (majority of the role)
- Work with the Parts Manager to locate parts that are not currently in stock
- Complete special-order requests for customer parts needs
- Communicate with customers regarding the status of ordered parts and notify them upon arrival
- Assist with stocking inventory and maintaining an organized parts department
- Serve as backup to the parts stocking clerk when necessary
- Communicate with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Understand and follow federal, state, and local regulations applicable to the automotive industry
- Perform other duties as assigned
