About The Position

The Parts Crib Attendant will order and maintain inventory of parts as well as follow our company's Good Manufacturing Practices. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Ensure compliance with corporate and plant safety standards and with applicable laws and regulations issued by regulatory agencies. Enter data into the inventory system on receipts, consumption, and disbursement or parts. Contact vendors for needed repairs. Order and distribute parts for the maintenance department. Maintain stock parts and parts room in an organized and clean status. Maintain documentation for PMs, Work Orders, and Red Tags Adhere to department budget and provide weekly reports to the department manager. Other duties as assigned by management. A development plan will be implemented to ensure success with: Preventative Maintenance participation Parts Rebuilds Assisting maintenance staff with basic repairs Reasonable mandatory overtime may be required due to business needs. Requirements

Familiarity with tools and mechanical/electrical components necessary for the position.
Must be able to work with minimal supervisory oversight, attentive to detail, and be highly organized.

Nice To Haves

A High School diploma, Associates degree (or higher) in a technical field is strongly preferred.
Five (5) years related experience supporting maintenance functions in a manufacturing environment.
Proficient user of Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Experience with inventory management systems preferred.
