About The Position

As a Parts Counterperson, you will play a key role in maintaining inventory accuracy, fulfilling parts requests, and delivering exceptional customer service both in person and over the phone.

Requirements

• General understanding of automotive systems and parts.
• Strong computer skills and ability to look up and track parts accurately.
• Clear and friendly communication skills, both in person and on the phone.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Proactive in identifying customer needs and recommending additional parts/services.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with over-the-counter and internal parts sales is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers and technicians with identifying and ordering parts.
• Manage inventory levels, reorder stock, and process special orders.
• Research part numbers and availability using catalogs and computer systems.
• Track seasonal and recall-related parts demands.
• Resolve inventory discrepancies in coordination with the parts manager.
• Ensure timely communication regarding the status of parts orders.
