Requirements

  • Ability to perform in a Team atmosphere.
  • Helping other employees as necessary with large parts and heavy parts.
  • Positive attitude each day.
  • Following Standard Operating Procedures
  • Clear communications with co-workers and Management
  • Taking accountability for work performance.
  • High school diploma or equivalent degree preferred
  • Excellent math and reading comprehension skills
  • General understanding of various functions of a warehouse
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and work at heights of 25 feet or more
  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
  • Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen

Nice To Haves

  • Warehouse experience and material handling equipment experience preferred
  • Strong computer and software skills

Responsibilities

  • Scan incoming freight from Chrysler using scan gun
  • Separate freight between stock and customer orders
  • Place customer orders in proper location for picking by warehouse workers
  • Pick orders from incoming freight matching part number and quantity to pick ticket.
  • Pick orders from warehouse inventory matching part number and quantity to pick ticket.
  • Place completed orders in the correct location for drivers to check off parts for delivery.
  • Run copies of pick tickets placing one for invoicing, one for parts and one in master file.
  • Repeat process throughout the day.
  • Parts not found in location are placed in Not Found Basket for further research.
  • Parts that are scanned in during the morning are now put away in the proper location with accuracy and grouped with same part that may already be in stock.
  • Parts Customer Returns are scanned and put back to stock once condition of part is verified.
  • All daily activities of warehouse employees are done with safety in mind.
  • Any unsafe conditions are reported to management for correction.
  • Weekly warehouse audit is completed making sure all locations are picker friendly, neat and organized.
  • Warehouse is kept clean of trash, floors are swept and general housekeeping is a requirement.
