About The Position
Envision Honda of Milpitas is seeking a Parts Counterman to join our team in Milpitas, California. This is a full-time position with a base salary plus commission in the auto industry. The ideal candidate will be an individual contributor with a strong knowledge of automotive parts and exceptional customer service skills. As a Parts Counterman, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers receive efficient and accurate service. Compensation & Benefits: This position offers a competitive hourly rate plus bonuses, paid semi-monthly. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a Parts Counterman or in a related field preferred
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts, including part numbers, functions, and compatibility
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in using computer systems and software, including Excel and inventory management systems
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record

- Previous experience as a Parts Counterman or in a related field preferred
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and determine their parts needs
- Lookup, locate, and order parts from suppliers
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock levels are sufficient
- Consistently provide exceptional customer service by answering questions and assisting with parts selection
- Process parts orders and payments accurately and efficiently
- Collaborate with other departments, such as service and sales, to ensure timely delivery of parts
- Keep the parts department clean and organized
- Stay up-to-date on new products and technologies in the automotive industry
- Assist in creating special promotions and displays to attract customers
- Follow all safety guidelines and company policies
