We offer paid, on-the-job training to prepare you for success and career progression opportunities. In this role, you will perform a variety of in-store customer service, promoting, and stocking duties related to receiving, sale, and delivery of parts and accessories. There is extensive contact with external customers, both in-person and over the phone. Additionally, you will be working with a number of mechanics and shop foreman from our service department under general supervision.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- At least one (1) year of experience in a customer service position is preferred.
- Communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Intermediate computer skills, including (but not limited to); PFW, Microsoft Office and internet functions.
- Effectively handle lifting various objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience working a parts counter is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Reading catalogs, schematics and computer displays in order to determine replacement part/s and pricing.
- Determining replacements part(s) required according to inspection of old parts, customers’ request or customers’ description of malfunction.
- Receiving shipments of order, placing machine down and stock orders.
- Taking a complete inventory, marking and storing parts according to prearranged systems.
- Examining parts for defects, and exchange of defective parts.
- Advising customers on substitution or modification of parts.
- Receiving and filling telephone orders.
- Filling customer orders from stock.
- Preparing invoices, pic-packs and sales receipts
