Parts Counter Salesperson
About The Position
Sunshine Quality Solutions is looking for a Parts Counter Salesperson. This individual will be responsible for selling, receiving, and delivering parts and accessories to meet the customers’ needs. In addition, the individual will possess excellent organizational and stocking skills to assist in maintaining merchandise displays, along with keeping the parts department clean and orderly. Requirements
- 1-2 years of customer service experience
- Knowledge of parts and machinery
- Strong computer and data entry/keyboard skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Stand, walk, and bend for extended periods throughout the day.
- Ability to operate a forklift and other machinery safely
- Capability to perform tasks that require manual dexterity and coordination
- Capability to work in a warehouse environment, which may include exposure to varying temperatures.
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with John Deere parts and machinery
- Experience using the John Deere Parts Catalog software
- Forklift operation experience
- 1-2 years of customer service experience in a sales environment
Responsibilities
- Promote and sell products/services to fulfill customer needs and drive sales.
- Provide Service Technicians with required parts and materials for timely repairs.
- Assist in setting up and maintaining organized, visually appealing merchandise displays.
- Verify and receive shipments, ensuring Machine Down and Stock Orders are properly stored in inventory.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment within the parts department.
- Address inventory shortages promptly and escalate issues to the manager.
- Ensure tools, equipment, and vehicles in the department are well-maintained and operational.
