About The Position

The Parts Counter Salesperson will be responsible for assisting customers with their parts needs, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining accurate inventory records. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of parts and accessories, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a passion for helping customers.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of parts and accessories
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Computer and spreadsheet knowledge
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Valid driver's license
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen, MVR and background check.

Responsibilities

  • Assist customers in finding the right parts and accessories
  • Research parts online and look up schematics
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure that the store is well-stocked
  • Order and receive parts as needed
  • Answer phone calls and respond to emails
  • Process sales transactions and handle cash and credit card payments
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers
  • Investigate and resolve customer complaints
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest equipment and parts
  • Assist with other duties as assigned
