Purpose: Responsible for selling, receiving, and delivery of parts and accessories. In addition, performs instore customer service, overall organizational promotion, and stocking duties.
Promotes and sells products and/or services to meet customer needs
Handles customer needs for the entire transactional process – looking up parts, pulling parts, selling parts, loading out parts
Responsible for the entire inventory process with Non-Deere parts – receipting the parts under the price specified from the vendor and then, marking-up price to ensure gross margin.
Supplies Service Technicians with parts as required
Assists with preparing and maintaining merchandise displays
Verifies receipting-in of shipments and assists with placing Machine Down and Stock Orders in their proper inventory locations
Follows up on shortages and expedites issues by reporting to the Warehouse Manager/Parts Manager – Does not act on the shortages
Listens and records potential customer needs or sales/service leads
Will assist in the auditing of customer orders in the customer bins – through making the > 14 day warning call
Regularly stocks showroom – as needed
Assist in keeping the parts department clean and orderly
Must be respectful and diligent when representing Western Equipment
