About The Position

Al Packer Ford of Royal Palm Beach is seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Counter Sales Representative to join our team. This role is essential in providing exceptional service to customers, assisting them with their purchases and inquiries, and driving sales while ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and order fulfillment.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of automotive parts and accessories, with dealership experience preferred (Ford experience will be highly considered).
• Proficiency in using parts lookup software and dealership management systems.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficiency in retail math to ensure accurate pricing and inventory management.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage with customers effectively.
• Ability to fulfill orders accurately and promptly, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Ability to work Saturdays on a rotating schedule.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and courteously in person and over the phone.
• Assist customers in locating the right parts and accessories based on their needs and vehicle specifications.
• Provide accurate product information, availability, and pricing.
• Stay informed about market trends, product knowledge, and recalls to better assist customers.
• Process sales, returns, and exchanges accurately in the dealership's management system and POS.
• Maintain familiarity with promotions, discounts, and sales goals.
• Upsell complementary products and accessories to enhance the customer experience and to meet sales goals.
• Manage order fulfillment processes, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and maintain a positive work environment.
• Monitor parts inventory levels and notify the manager of low-stock or out-of-stock items.
• Assist in receiving, stocking, and organizing parts inventory to ensure efficient access.
• Conduct scheduled inventory counts to ensure accuracy.
