We’re looking for a Parts Counter Sales Representative to join our growing Danbury, CT team. In this role you’ll assist customers in our showroom and over the phone, process orders accurately, support our sales team, and help maintain an organized, safe, and well-stocked inventory. Requirements
- You are 18 years or older
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of customer service experience (parts or counter experience is a plus)
- Strong communication and basic technical / troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with accuracy and urgency
- A positive, team-focused attitude
- Physical ability to move products and stay active throughout the day
- A commitment to uphold Haun values: Helpful, Humble, Heart-driven, and Honest
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with inventory software or POS systems
- Experience with welding equipment, industrial gases, or related industries is a plus, but not required
Responsibilities
- Assist with walk-in and phone-in customers with friendly, solution-focused support
- Accurately process orders, branch transfers, and quotes with attention to detail
- Help outside sales representatives by preparing orders and offering technical information
- Maintain organized, safe, and appealing product displays and inventory
- Troubleshoot product questions and guide customers toward the right parts and equipment
- Work closely with your team to meet daily goals by upholding Haun’s values and safety quality standards
