The Parts Counter Person assists all customers in selecting required parts in a professional and efficient manner, providing a high level of service. Responsibilities include pulling and filling orders from stock, notifying the parts manager of out-of-stock parts, locating out-of-stock parts from outside sources, and submitting emergency orders if necessary. The role also involves notifying the shop when all parts have arrived, pulling orders for delivery, following up on back-ordered parts, replenishing assigned inventory daily, assisting outside sales representatives, issuing and tracking requested shop tools, and maintaining cleanliness in the counter areas. The Parts Counter Person must stay current on new products and product updates and perform other tasks as assigned.
