About The Position

Ron Tonkin Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram Fiat is proud to be one of the leading high-volume MOPAR dealerships in the Pacific Northwest. With a long-standing reputation for excellence in customer service, automotive expertise, and community involvement, we continue to raise the bar in the industry. We are currently looking to expand our team by adding a Parts Counter Advisor to our Parts Department. This position plays a crucial role in the daily operations of our dealership, serving as a key link between our service technicians, retail customers, and wholesale clients. Whether it's ensuring the right part is available for a repair job or helping a customer find the exact accessory they need, our Parts Counter Advisors are essential to keeping everything running smoothly!
Requirements
- Previous automotive parts experience required
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Basic understanding of vehicle systems and components
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license and clean driving record, able to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen.
Nice To Haves
- Dealership experience preferred, especially with MOPAR parts
- Familiarity with parts inventory systems a plus (e.g., CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds)
Responsibilities
- Providing exceptional customer service to retail and internal service department customers
- Advising customers and technicians on correct parts selection for various makes and models
- Maintaining, organizing, and tracking inventory using dealership systems
- Ordering and receiving parts and supplies efficiently and accurately
- Facilitating and tracking the sale and delivery of parts
- Collaborating with the service and sales departments to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of parts needs
