About The Position

Systems Contractors is looking for a Parts Coordinator to join our growing team in Greensboro, NC. This person will be responsible for the full-cycle management and preparation of small repair quotes delivered to customers, booking small quotes into the work order management system, parts tracking, parts ordering, customer service phone support, distribution and all relevant paperwork.

  • High school diploma or equivalent necessary

Nice To Haves

  • HVAC knowledge or background in parts is a plus.
  • College courses in computer applications a plus.
  • Customer Service experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Manage incoming quotes from technicians for commercial HVAC repairs, manage and track quotes in the electronic quote system to include status of quotes.
  • Obtain parts pricing for quotes, Price the quotes and type them up to be sent out to the customers. Give completed quotes to the Service Manager for review and approval.
  • Order all parts for the assigned service technicians in the quickest yet most cost-effective source.
  • Create the quoted job, work order for dispatch to schedule.
  • Mark all incoming parts with proper job or ticket number. Put material in proper location for staging. Include a copy of the order sheet with the parts.
  • Be available to back up Service support team answering phones, taking service calls, and learn the dispatch system.
  • Maintain an accurate record of all parts ordered and be persistent with suppliers for parts that are delayed.
  • Maintain an accurate inventory.
