About The Position

Purchasing and inventory control for the Maintenance Department and DC Operations to ensure that the facility runs efficiently.

Requirements

  • High School preferred.
  • Four to six months work experience preferably in a purchasing/inventory environment.
  • Must be able to demonstrate basic knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and Windows.
  • Able to perform essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • These tasks require the ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
  • The Team Member should have adequate fitness level to meet the demands of frequent lifting, walking, standing, moderate climbing, occasional sitting, stooping and kneeling with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Team Member will be required to use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) per Distribution Center requirements.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with co-workers and management team.
  • Has the necessary hand and motor skills needed to perform essential work activities.
  • Is committed to achieving and maintaining high standards. Ensures own work is correct.
  • Consistent and dependable. Follows supervisors' instructions. Respects Company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Cycle counts to ensure that parts are available when needed.
  • Generates work orders through the MP2 (Maintenance Management) system.
  • Receives and distributes supplies as needed.
  • Enters inventory data into MP2 system.
  • Sends out equipment for repair.
  • Records technician's time on work order and then closes them out.
  • Downloads parts scanned out into MP2 system.
  • Follows set safety procedures and guidelines to maximize personal safety.
  • Maintains an organized work area and promotes a safe working environment with the Maintenance department.
  • Follows all Company policies and procedures.
  • All other duties as assigned.
