Coordinates the activities of the Parts Department
Requirements
Exhibits familiarity with VMRS coding
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Associates degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or
six months to one year of related experience and/or training; or
equivalent combination of education and experience
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
Valid driver's license as required by supervisor and/or location
Safety shoes (steel toe or composite) required
Forklift certified
Responsibilities
Assists the Parts Clerks with assigned daily duties as needed.
Responsible for the warranty part and core return process.
Creates reports to manage inventory, enter records and ascertains type and parts numbers.
Creates and enters purchase order numbers and matches invoice numbers with purchase orders.
Responsible for inventory accuracy.
Ensure all parts department areas are kept clean, labeled, and organized.
Issues parts to technicians and enters repair orders into computer as needed.
