About The Position

Kniesel’s Collision is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Parts Coordinator to support our high-performing collision repair team. This key role is responsible for ordering, receiving, inspecting, and distributing parts to ensure efficient repair workflows. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a proactive attitude, and a commitment to accuracy and timeliness in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Experience in automotive parts coordination, inventory management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on customer service
  • Familiarity with parts management software and inventory control systems is a plus.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Physical capability to stand, kneel, bend for extended periods, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Parts Procurement: Order and coordinate the timely delivery of parts required for vehicle repairs, ensuring accuracy and availability to support efficient shop operations.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain a well-organized parts inventory, monitor stock levels, and track part usage to prevent shortages or overstocking.
  • Vendor Relations: Build and sustain strong relationships with parts vendors to secure competitive pricing, product availability, and timely service.
  • Quality Control: Inspect all incoming parts for accuracy, quality, and compliance with vehicle specifications prior to distribution to technicians.
  • Team Support: Serve as a resource to the repair team by addressing parts-related inquiries and assisting in resolving part-related issues to minimize repair delays.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of parts orders, receipts, returns, and inventory adjustments in accordance with company procedures.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other responsibilities as assigned by the Location Manager, including shop organization and lot porter support as needed.
