About The Position

The Parts Coordinator performs a variety of tasks in a warehouse environment purchasing, receiving, arranging, storing, packing, loading and unloading, shipping, tracking parts in inventory, creating schedules, and reading CAD prints. This role requires attention to detail, the use of computer programs, and excellent communication.

Requirements

Work experience as general laborer, preferably in warehouse.
Ability to operate forklift proficiently.
Completion of background investigation and drug screening.
Strong people skills.
Good moral character.
Physically strong, agile and dexterous, and undeterred by heights and adverse climatic conditions.
Positive work history and ability to maintain solid attendance.
Available to work extended hours.
Forklift Certification required

Responsibilities

Ensuring cleanliness, tidiness, organization, and safety of work environment.
Receiving duties of loading and unloading delivery vehicles, and acceptance of deliveries for inventory.
Counting and confirming inventory.
Inspecting inventory for damage and faults.
Communicating errors to relevant parties.
Marking and labeling stock.
Storing inventory in accessible manner.
Loading and wrapping stock on pallets.
Building loads with forklift and electronic pallet jack.
Purchasing parts unavailable from the plant, warehouse stock, and various supplies for the office and shipping department.
Working with the plant purchasing assistants to check for availability on parts needed.
Vendor returns for charge backs
Shipping via FedEx or scheduling freight.
Managing the current and obsolete parts in the warehouse - sending obsolete material to salvage.
Helping pull larger parts and loading for home loads and contractors when needed.
Organizing the parts orders and creating a daily schedule.
Reading various prints in CAD
