About The Position

Come join our team! Transport Refrigeration Services, Inc. is looking for a Parts Clerk to join our fleet service shop. The ideal candidate will have experience in automotive or heavy-duty truck parts. Dealership experience is preferred but not required.   • Ability to follow safety standards
  • Completion of a high school education or equivalent
  • valid driver’s license
  • Maintenance of an unrestricted driver’s license
  • Successful completion of a forklift certification course

  • Dealership experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Order parts from proper preferred vendors
  • Generate POs and ensure original invoices are received in a timely manner
  • Check in stock, check order for accuracy and stock shelves
  • Create and manage bin locations
  • Set up min/max stock levels and proper inventory levels
  • Cycle count and full inventory
  • Assist technicians with parts needed
  • Answers incoming calls
  • Picking up parts from vendors
  • Keep a neat and organized Parts Dept., as well as storage trailers
  • Check for best available pricing of parts needed without sacrifice of quality
  • Ensures proper coding for parts
  • Manage slow moving parts
  • Operates a forklift to load and unload parts
  • Hold all warranty parts for proper manufacture time frame and dispose when expired
  • Maintains confidentiality of all company information
  • Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
