About The Position

The Parts Clerk will use customer service and communication skills to support the service technicians and secure necessary parts, materials, supplies, and equipment used by the service department.

Requirements

Valid Driver's License.
High School diploma or GED required.
Previous parts experience required.
Ability to interpret, read, write, and type reports.
Ability to prioritize, organize work, and meet deadlines.
Excellent computer and phone skills.

Responsibilities

Maintains parts inventory by verifying supplies; placing orders when order-points are reached.
Sources parts with from various vendors, seeking the best possible price and service guarantee.
Develops new supply sources where vendors are inadequate.
Ensures parts are on work orders and distribute parts to service technicians.
Checks requisitions for appropriate approval and account numbers.
Works closely with receiving department to ensure proper supplies arrived.
Ensure compliance with company polices and procedures.
Creating and Maintaining Work Orders
Creating and Maintaining Purchase Orders
Performing Quarterly Inventory Counts -- Inventory Control
Ensure compliance with company polices and procedures.
Performs other job duties as assigned.
