Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Working knowledge of the parts being stored and supplied
  • Purchasing experience
  • Basic knowledge of computers
  • Attention and commitment to safety
  • Ability to work well with others in a team environment
  • Ability to follow instructions
  • Great customer service skills
  • Ability to move at least 60 pounds

Responsibilities

  • Receiving, stocking, and distributing parts and supplies
  • Keep inventory of the parts and tools (in and out)
  • Assist in tracking inventory, ordering new materials and maintaining records
  • Assist mechanics and drivers
  • Coordinate with vendors, customers, and other departments to ensure smooth operations
  • Track returns and credits
  • Operate a forklift
  • Receive loads and unload freight
