About The Position
The position involves supporting the Maintenance staff by providing parts from inventory and billing them to the associated Work Orders (WOs). The role requires procuring parts from suppliers for needed repairs in a timely and efficient manner, answering phone calls, and dispatching mechanics or Supervisors to breakdowns when necessary. Additionally, the job includes data entry on WOs, generating purchase orders, securing price quotes from vendors, and working closely with the Menards buying staff to acquire parts and supplies. The candidate will also be responsible for packaging and shipping items to repair facilities, receiving packages from vendors, and setting up accounts with new vendors for products and repair services. Continuous improvement in the system is encouraged while being aware of its limitations.
