About The Position

This internship runs from Late March/Early April 2025 to October 2025. The Parts Business Operations department is a core profitability and customer satisfaction driver for Porsche Cars North America (PCNA) and its network of dealers. After a Porsche vehicle is sold, we are responsible for keeping the car on the road through the supply of maintenance and repair parts which proactively enables a customer experience befitting the Porsche brand. The goal is to make the Porsche AfterSales experience as thrilling as the driving experience by actively driving efficiency, optimization, standardization, and automation. This role will enable the delivery of modern luxury at scale.

Requirements

  • Minimum Senior in undergraduate studies.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strategic and continuous improvement mindset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and project management tools, preferably Project for the Web).
  • Must be organized, positive, proactive, results-oriented, with excellent oral and written communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding and incorporation of project methodology.
  • Experience working with large scale data to build reporting solutions.
  • Ability to collaborate with multiple groups on multiple levels.

Nice To Haves

  • Post graduate preferred.
  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Management, Supply Chain, and/or Data Analytics preferred.
  • Experience in demonstrating proof of concepts and presenting them to stakeholders.
  • Ability to work with internal teams to understand business requirements and translate them to technical design and requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation of strategic concepts and projects to help the parts business team achieve strategic objectives.
  • Collaborate with multiple stakeholders across the organization, including various business units within PCNA, logistics organization, and teams in Germany.
  • Ideate around modernizing systems and processes, automation, and setting a foundation for future efficiency and sustainable growth with a customer focus.
  • Support and execute multiple projects and initiatives, including local product sourcing and parts supply chain continuous improvement.
  • Participate in ongoing team project execution priorities.
  • Support process documentation and work instruction culture.
  • Exemplify a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Support project documentation, including meeting minutes, reports, and presentations.
  • Identify and report potential risks or issues in project execution.
  • Assist in planning and scheduling project timelines, tasks, and milestones.
  • Assist the Parts Planning Manager to ensure day-to-day tactical work aligns with the overall strategic vision of the department.
  • Assist team business owners in alignment with the Parts Planning Manager process to ensure project structure and accountability.
  • Lead in organizing meetings, preparing agendas, and following up on action items.
