Ballard Truck Center in Johnston, RI is looking for a Parts Back Counter Representative. Responsibilities and Duties Parts Counter Representative Responsibilities Include:

Requirements

Must have prior, relevant experience
Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
Must have at least basic computer skills
Professional, personal appearance.
Ability to work well with the public, sometimes with several customers at a time.
Ability to work both individually and as a team
Must be able to lift 50lbs or more
Will be required to wear a dealership provided uniform.

Responsibilities

Assist technicians and customers in selecting required parts, suggest companion requirements, offer specials, and ensure that the customer is exposed to the full product line.
Pull purchased parts from stock
If the part is not in stock, determine availability and submit an emergency order if requested by the customer.
Answer phone calls in a timely manner, providing price quotes and other information.
Assist outside sales representatives with their orders.
Set up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick-up.
Notify customer re: ordered parts, promptly restock returns, cores.
Be friendly, professional and efficient when working with all customers, both on the phone and in person
