About The Position

Position Overview: Under the direction of the Service Manager, the Parts Associate must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and in accordance with company policies and procedures. The Parts Associate plays a crucial role in ensuring that parts are accurately picked, packed, and shipped to meet the needs of technicians and customers. This position requires attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The Parts Associate will be responsible for managing inventory levels, processing orders, and ensuring that all shipments are accurate and timely. The role also involves maintaining a clean and organized workspace to promote efficiency and safety in the warehouse. Daily Functions: The Parts Associate will create quotes for technicians and customers on parts that are needed for repairs. They will pick and pack small parts in a warehouse setting to fulfill parts orders according to standards and expectations. The associate will accurately put parts into inventory in a timely and efficient manner that promotes effective picking practices. Additionally, they will place purchase orders, monitor parts for repairs, and label and verify each inbound and outbound shipment, checking all items for accuracy. In the event of discrepancies, over-shipments, or substitutions, the Parts Associate will notify their supervisor. They will also be responsible for accurately receiving products, counting all items unloaded, and verifying them with the packing list in a timely manner. Unloading, delivering, and putting away all parts and finished goods according to work instructions, including non-saleable items, is also part of the job responsibilities.
