The Parts Associate will: Sell products and/or services to repair the problem at hand and meet the guest's needs. Assist in keeping the parts department clean and orderly. Maintain the retail sales floor and displays to meet or exceed the dealership's standards and guest's satisfaction. Assist the Parts Manager with inventory management to ensure maximum sales and guest satisfaction. Provide service technicians with parts as required on a daily basis. Communicate efficiently with advisors and technicians to ensure efficient work flow. Communicate with guests in a timely manner when ordered parts arrive. Verify parts receiving documents. Follow prescribed cash, credit, and check processing procedures of the dealership. Attend training as prescribed by management to maintain proficiency in his/her job description. Use dealership equipment and resources safely and proficiently. Maintain guest goodwill by greeting and acknowledging all guest they comes in contact with. Follow up on shortages and expedite by reporting to the Parts Manager. Perform other tasks as required by the Parts Manager.
