About The Position

Morrison Industrial Equipment is looking for a Full Time Parts & Service Management Trainee at our Brighton l location, located at 1183 S Old US Highway 23, Brighton, MI 48114. Our management trainees work within both the parts and service departments, gaining versatile experience with lots of opportunities for growth within the company. This position would require a valid, good-standing driver’s license. This position would also be subject to a pre-employment drug screen, physical exam, and background check for any position within the company. This team member works Monday-Friday, first shift hours, and works 40 hours a week with the opportunity for overtime. Compensation for this role starts at $24/hour, dependent on experience.

Requirements

• Pass a drug screen, background check, and physical.
• Valid, good-standing driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Looking up and ordering parts.
• Receiving and processing parts.
• Working with customers to fulfil orders.
• Reviewing and approving work orders.
• Assisting with customers’ quotes.
• Respond to phone calls and email management.
• Vendor communication.
• Inventory management.
• Additional duties, as assigned.
• Processing of technician timecards and organizing weekly payroll.
• Opening, processing, and monitoring of work orders to ensure successful and efficient service.
• Proactively contacting customers to provide repair status of units.
• Debriefing with technicians at the conclusion of each day for the purpose of efficient scheduling.
• Repair estimate preparation, presentation, and processing.
• Processing of warranty claims.
• Answering phones and assisting customers with a positive customer focused attitude.
• Assisting with rental inquiries, quotations, set-up and deliveries.
• Additional duties, as assigned.
