PARTS AND SERVICE ASSOCIATE
About The Position
The Parts and Service Associate is responsible for the sale of trailer parts and for coordinating service and repairs of trailers.QualificationsEssential Specific Job Duties: Keeps abreast of changes, developments and new products in his/her area of responsibility and advises management of potential applicability. Conducts special studies and analysis in his/her area of responsibility as directed. Responds to phone, email and walk in inquiries in regards to parts and service. Prepares estimates as needed. Picks, packs and ships parts as needed. Monitors the website, responds to website inquiries and modifies website as needed. Uses ERP system to monitor and adjust inventory. Stocks parts into inventory and may take inventory as needed. Schedules service and repairs of trailers with the shop and customers. Sells steel and may cut as needed. Sells excess inventory.
