GROWTH = OPPORTUNITY As a Parts Advisor you will be responsible for providing vehicle parts and merchandise to customers while providing exceptional customer service.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in automotive parts or service departments, preferably in a dealership setting.
- Enthusiastic about working in a fast-paced dealership
- Strong understanding of automotive parts, vehicle systems, and manufacturer parts catalogs (especially Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep, RAM)
- CDK experience is preferred
- Ability to navigate technology with ease
- Bi-Lingual Spanish speaking is required
- Confident in upselling or suggesting related parts or accessories
- Able to manage inventory, track orders, and ensure the accuracy of parts fulfillment
- Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills with both internal (technicians, service advisors) and external (retail and wholesale customers) stakeholders.
- Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence.
- High School graduate or equivalent, 18 years or older required.
Nice To Haves
- ASE Parts Specialist certification is a plus
Responsibilities
- Answer telephone and greet customers & vendors in a friendly and professional manner.
- Maintain clean and professional appearance of counter, work area, and stockroom.
- Interact with the Service Team to coordinate parts for vehicle repair and service.
- Order parts from suppliers based on Service Department and customer requests.
- Receive, unpack, and store parts in appropriate storage areas so they are readily available when needed.
- Takes inventory, maintain records of goods received and keeps perpetual inventory controls.
- Receive payment or obtain credit authorization.
- Process core returns, parts warranties and parts returns as necessary.
