Requirements

Previous Parts Advisor experience (preferred)
Understanding of basic automotive components and systems
Automotive dealership service experience (a plus)
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Strong computer literacy
Ability to build and maintain successful customer relationships
Organized, detail-oriented, and dependable
High School graduate or equivalent, 18 years or older required.

Responsibilities

Provide vehicle parts and merchandise to customers while delivering exceptional customer service
Answer telephones and greet customers and vendors in a friendly and professional manner
Maintain a clean and professional counter area, workspace, and stockroom
Coordinate with the Service Team to ensure timely parts support for repairs
Order parts from suppliers based on Service Department and customer needs
Receive, unpack, and store parts in designated storage areas
Maintain inventory controls and accurate records of goods received
Process payments and obtain credit authorization
Handle core returns, parts warranties, and parts returns as necessary
