About The Position

Partnerships Project Manager (Associate) The Partnerships Project Manager sits within the Customer Communications Delivery Operations Team. This role serves as the project lead to both delivery execution teams and Intent Owners across Marketing, Operations, Business and Vertical teams within Card Partnerships at Capital One. The PM is responsible for the successful end-to-end delivery of small to large-scale Marketing Operations projects such as Creative development, Direct Mail, Digital Messaging (email, sms, etc.), owned-channel web placements and audience segmentation. The PM supports Marketing Initiatives such as quarterly and annual roadmap planning, as well as providing support for various change management initiatives. PMs are both empathetic—and demanding. They love to collaborate, communicate clearly, and value efficiency, productivity and progress.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification
  • At least 1 year of Project Management or Process Management Experience

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree or Military experience
  • 1+ year of experience partnering with marketing teams
  • 2+ years of Account Management experience
  • 1+ year of experience with G suite applications
  • 1+ year of experience with Adobe Workfront
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams
  • Strong problem solving and influencing skills

Responsibilities

  • Manage the project lifecycle (intake, scoping, planning, delivery) and restraints of stakeholders to develop realistic project plans/schedules
  • Drive cross-functional projects based on defined priorities; ensure scope of deliverables, timelines and budget are met; identify risks and issues and mitigate and / or escalate as needed
  • Leverage problem solving skills to ensure project plans deliver on intent and maintain key project documentation
  • Facilitate and lead regular meetings with stakeholder and project teams
  • Build and maintain project management tools including progress documentation, status, timelines, requirements, risks, decisions and meeting minutes
  • Approach projects with a strategic lens while managing the tactical details in the day-to-day
  • Navigate and develop clarity from ambiguous direction
  • Manage capacity planning and prioritization routines
  • Collaborate closely with project team to ensure on-time and error-free delivery of commitments
  • Support organization change management activities and communications. Apply various change management methodologies and demonstrate excellent change management skills
  • Identify ways to improve and streamline processes to drive efficiencies.
  • Strong multi-tasking, organizational skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven ability to keep work moving; an effective problem solver & can influence others
  • Demonstrate flexibility and the agility to adapt to changing priorities
  • Extremely detail oriented and organized
  • Self-motivated and deadline-driven across multiple, simultaneous projects
  • Demonstrate project management skills and the ability to quickly put structure in place to manage the work
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills which are essential for interacting and communicating with stakeholders across all levels to manage, inform, and influence outcomes
