Requirements

  • Experience: 5+ years in Business Development or Partnership Management within Data Center Hardware, Power/Cooling, or Semiconductor industries.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with data center physical layers (L1/L2), thermal management, power distribution, or high-speed connectivity components.
  • Project Management: Proven ability to manage long hardware sales cycles (12–24 months) involving multiple technical stakeholders.
  • Industry Standards: Understanding of OCP (Open Compute Project) standards and environmental certifications (LEED, Energy Star, etc.).

Nice To Haves

  • Established relationships with major hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) or colocation providers (Equinix, Digital Realty).
  • Educational background in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience with global supply chain logistics and hardware manufacturing timelines.

Responsibilities

  • Design-In Strategy: Work with partner engineering teams to ensure our components are "designed-in" to their next-generation server architectures or facility layouts.
  • OEM & ODM Management: Manage relationships with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and Original Design Manufacturers (ODMs) to secure long-term supply agreements.
  • Ecosystem Alignment: Partner with cooling, power, and rack providers to create pre-configured, validated reference designs for hyperscale and enterprise customers.
  • Channel Development: Recruit and enable specialized distributors and value-added resellers (VARs) who focus on data center physical infrastructure.
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor trends in Edge Computing, AI-driven power demands, and liquid cooling to identify new partnership opportunities.
  • Contractual Oversight: Negotiate Master Supply Agreements (MSAs) and ensure compliance with hardware standards and sustainability certifications.
