And innovation isn’t a buzzword — it’s a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all. Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You’re in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce. The Opportunity Join a founding team building Salesforce's Applied AI Technical Architect function for partners — a force multiplier role that ensures top-tier system integrators deliver enterprise-grade Agentforce solutions with confidence, quality, and velocity. Founding team opportunity — Build a new function from the ground up High-leverage role — Your work multiplies across key partners and top customers Cutting-edge tech — Work at the frontier of agentic AI in enterprise Strategic visibility — Engage with tier-1 SI leadership and Salesforce product teams Autonomy — Own your patterns, build your field kits, shape the ecosystem Learning environment — Work with some of the best architects in the industry By scaling partner capability through architecture governance, pattern codification, and engagement, our job is to make partners so capable they can grow business independently. What We're Looking For This role is best suited for someone who thrives at the intersection of deep technical execution, strategic enterprise architecture, and partner ecosystem development. We need architects who are builders first with proven ability to operate in complex enterprise environments. You should be someone partners want to learn from because you've been in the trenches building real agentic systems. 1. Well-developed Salesforce Chops You need to be a Salesforce platform expert, not just conceptually familiar, but someone who's built complex, production-grade solutions on the platform. 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development/architecture experience Expert-level understanding of Data Cloud (vector databases, semantic retrieval, zero-copy federation, data graphs) Deep Agentforce knowledge (Agent Builder, Atlas Reasoning Engine, action types, reasoning strategies) Production experience with Einstein (Model Builder, Prompt Builder, Einstein Trust Layer) Solid grasp of multi-cloud Salesforce architecture (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud interactions) Understanding of integration patterns (MuleSoft, APIs, event-driven architecture) Comfortable with Apex, Flow, LWC, 2GP 2. Applied Agentic Architecture Experience You must have real-world production experience deploying agentic systems in enterprise environments. Production LLM experience — You've deployed agents/AI systems that real customers use Advanced prompt engineering — You understand temperature, top-p, chain-of-thought, few-shot learning, prompt injection mitigation Agent development patterns — Single-agent orchestration, multi-agent collaboration, supervisor-worker models, tool-augmented agents, memory-centric agents, reflection loops Evaluation frameworks — You've built testing harnesses for accuracy, task success, latency, cost per resolution, hallucination detection Observability & debugging — You know how to trace agent behavior, identify failure modes, tune performance Cost optimization — You understand token economics, caching strategies, model selection tradeoffs Guardrails & safety — You've designed trust boundaries, PII handling, output validation 3. True Builder Mindset You're a maker, not just a strategist. You prototype, you code, you build reference implementations that partners can fork and extend. You work with real implementations — You co-review/assess GitHub repos, demo orgs, installable packages You learn by building — When a new capability drops, you build a POC within days You create reusable assets — Reference architectures, starter kits, evaluation harnesses, tooling You're intellectually curious — You're reading arxiv papers, testing new models, experimenting with patterns You extract patterns from building — You don't just build once; you recognize what's reusable and codify it You balance speed and quality — Fast iteration but production-grade thinking 4. Enterprise Strategic Planning Exposure You understand how enterprise architects think about large-scale transformation programs — not just technical architecture, but business architecture, risk management, and change enablement.

  • 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development and architecture experience, with deep expertise in Data Cloud (vector databases, semantic retrieval, zero-copy federation), Agentforce, and Einstein AI.
  • 3+ years of production AI/ML experience, including LLM deployments, agent development, advanced prompt engineering, evaluation frameworks, and cost optimization at scale.
  • True builder mindset—you work with code, create reusable assets, and learn by building. Portfolio of technical work required (GitHub, demos, architecture docs).
  • Applied agentic architecture expertise: single-agent and multi-agent patterns, orchestration, memory management, guardrails, hallucination mitigation, and production debugging.
  • Enterprise strategic planning exposure—you've worked with CIOs, CTOs, and enterprise architects on multi-year AI transformation roadmaps and understand consumption economics.
  • Track record of connecting technical work to business outcomes—you understand how architecture quality drives partner win rates, consumption growth, and expansion velocity.
  • Strong understanding of regulated industry requirements (HIPAA, GDPR, SOC2) and enterprise security patterns.
  • Exceptional communication skills—able to lead architecture conversations at both strategic and deeply technical levels.
  • 5+ years Salesforce platform experience (Data Cloud, Agentforce, multi-cloud)
  • 3+ years production AI/ML experience (LLMs, agents, evaluation, deployment)

  • Deep understanding of vector databases, semantic retrieval, RAG patterns
  • Experience with enterprise integration patterns (APIs, event-driven, federation)
  • Production LLM deployments (at least 2)
  • Advanced prompt engineering
  • Agent architecture patterns (single-agent, multi-agent, orchestration)
  • Evaluation framework design
  • Cost optimization and performance tuning
  • GitHub repos, demo orgs, or equivalent showing technical work
  • Writing samples (architecture docs, technical blog posts, whitepapers)
  • Evidence of pattern thinking (reusable assets you've created)
  • Experience working with enterprise architects or in strategic planning

  • Experience designing certification programs, maturity models, or partner enablement frameworks.
  • Deep consumption economics expertise—TCO modeling, outcome-based pricing, agent economics.
  • Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman) and capability maturity models.
  • Published thought leadership (conference talks, arxiv papers, technical blog)
  • Open source contributions (especially AI/ML tooling)
  • Experience at a tier-1 SI (understand their delivery models)
  • Industry specialization (FinServ, Healthcare, Manufacturing, etc.)
  • Product management experience (understand prioritization, roadmap thinking)
  • Teaching/training experience (enablement, certification program design)

Responsibilities

  • Serve as an architecture governance authority for key SI partners, conducting design reviews, pre-go-live assessments, and post-deployment optimization for Agentforce implementations.
  • Build working reference implementations, Partner Field Kits, and reusable patterns that partners can fork, extend, and deploy, scaling our impact across the ecosystem.
  • Provide white-glove deployment support for lighthouse, high-risk, and first-of-kind Agentforce deployments in enterprise environments.
  • Advise on partner technical artifacts including MCP servers, sub-agents, and agent skills for production readiness, security, and performance considerations.
