About The Position

This is a full-time position located in Oklahoma City. The Partner Support Specialist II furthers TSET’s mission by providing exceptional customer service to current and potential grantees by guiding them through the grant phases and proactively offering support. The Partner Support Specialist II serves as the primary point of contact for TSET grantees regarding non-program needs. This role involves addressing basic grant-related inquiries, facilitating connections to essential grant resources, data entry and monitoring compliance with grant deadlines and deliverables. Compensation $55,000.00

  • Broad familiarity with the agency’s history, structure, and operations.
  • Understanding of the agency’s program areas and mission.
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a complex team.
  • Ability to objectively analyze a situation and evaluate pros and cons of any course of action.
  • Ability to communicate technical, program and budget details to staff, applicants and grantees at a high-level.
  • Ability to foster an atmosphere that recognizes and respects cultural and individual differences.
  • Proven ability to organize and manage multiple tasks efficiently and effectively at the same time.
  • Ability to think and act decisively about grant compliance issues and corrective plans involving non-compliance
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office products.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher learning.
  • One to two years of professional experience with communications, public health, customer service, and/or community engagement preferred.
  • Previous experience providing administrative support focused on assisting with data entry, recordkeeping, and coordinating logistics for grants, projects, or programs.

  • Academic degrees preferred, but not required, would include those related to community health, public health, public administration, education, and social work.

Responsibilities

  • Actively supports TSET’s commitment to preventing cancer and cardiovascular disease in Oklahomans and creating healthier places for all Oklahomans to live, work, learn, and play.
  • Acts as first point of contact for grantees’ non-program-related questions and needs. Escalates complex issues to Program Managers as needed.
  • Becomes an expert on TSET program processes, training materials, and resources, and proactively directs grantees to the appropriate supports.
  • Provides outstanding customer service to grantees and elevates their TSET experience.
  • Supports grantees with basic technical assistance needs. Escalates complex technical needs to technical assistance providers and program managers.
  • Performs initial review of grant documents/requests as needed by Program Managers.
  • Assists with organizing logistics for grantee meetings and trainings.
  • Monitors grantee adherence to grant deadlines and deliverables.
  • Ensures grantee records and accounts are current within TSET’s grant management system, Salesforce.
  • Builds relationships with partners and assists them with non-program needs.
  • Assists Training Manager with grantee training needs.
  • Responds to grantee, partner, and Program Manager inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Serves as the primary point of contact for a small number of grantee(s) and provides guidance, training, and consultation on best practices for operating a program/project under the terms of the grant, effective implementation of the grant, and appropriate use of agency funds.
